When you post a paid brief on Twine, you need to set a budget. It's a good idea to make sure your budget matches normal market rates so that the creative is paid fairly for their work. Creative projects often involve a lot more hard work than you think. Here are some suggested budgets for different roles. 

Graphic Designer
On average you can expect to pay $65 - $75 per hour for a graphic designer.
For a logo you should expect to pay between $200 - $1300 depending on your requirements. 
For a website design with custom graphics you can expect to pay between $750 - $3000. 

Photographer
On average you can expect to pay $50 - $75 per hour for a photographer. 
A wedding photoshoot would cost at least $1300. 

Video Editor
On average you can expect to pay $50 - $100 for a video editor.
For a wedding video edit you should expect to pay between $400 - $1000. 

Videographer
On average you can expect to pay between $50 - $75 per hour for a videographer. 
For a full day shoot you should expect to pay around $1200. 

Animation
On average you can expect to pay $1500 per minute of 2D animation and $4000 per minute of 3D animation. 

Music Producer
On average you can expect to pay between $50 - $100 per hour for a music producer (without royalties). 
For a full professionally produced track from scratch (without vocals) you should expect to pay around $1700. 

Vocalist
On average you can expect to pay between $50 - $75 per hour for a vocalist.
For a full topline vocal for a track (to write lyrics and melody) you should expect to pay around $500.

Mixing Engineer
On average you can expect to pay between $50 - $100 per hour for a mixing engineer.
For a full professional mixed track (with minor editing) you should expect to pay around $500. 


Mastering Engineer
On average you can expect to pay between $50 - $100 per hour for a mixing engineer.
For a full professional mastered track (with full meta tags) you should expect to pay around $500. 

Illustrator 
On average you can expect to pay between $50 - $500 for a small half-page illustration, or $250 - $1500 for book illustrations. 

Remember, when you post a brief you also have the option to 'receive offers', if you're unsure what your budget should be. Creatives will pitch in with different budgets. Review their pitches then select the one that works best for you.
