How do I search for creatives on Twine?

If you're looking for a creative for your next project, you can search through the talent on Twine and hire creatives directly.

There are a couple of different ways to do this on Twine, depending on what you're looking for. We'll talk you through the options:

1. Search

The most straightforward way to find creatives on Twine is to use search. Make sure you're logged into your account. In the top right hand corner of the navigation bar you'll see the search bar:



Click the search bar, and type what you're looking for.

There are a number of different terms you can search by on Twine, depending on what you're looking for.

Role or skill:
If you're looking for a particular type of creative, enter their role. For example, illustrator, music producer, filmmaker, etc. As you type, you'll see the drop down menu appear. Here's a guide to what you'll see in the drop down menu:



Select any of the options in the drop down menu to see tailored results, or hit enter to see a mixed results page.

Name:
If you know the name of the creative you want to hire, enter their name. 

Project name:
You can search by the name of a project on Twine. For example, if you know a creative made a certain project that you want to search for.

Hashtag:
On Twine, creatives use hashtags to categorise their projects and their portfolios. For example, if they are a specialist in watercolour, they may categorise their projects with #watercolour. So, if you're looking for a specialist skill or genre, try searching by hashtags.

Once you're on the search results page, you'll see something that looks like this:



Left-hand menu:
Use the left-hand menu to switch between people results and project results. You can use the location menu to see results near you, or in a specific location.

Role filter menu:
Use the role filter menu at the top to find creatives by their role. For example, if you want to find a designer, click the Designer button. This will show you all the creatives who are designers for the term that you searched for.

2. Recommended people

You can use our recommended people page to find creatives by their role. Type or select the role you're looking  for from the drop down menu, then select whether you need someone local or remote. You'll see 4 results listed. Click the blue 'show more people' button to see more results.
