There may be a number of reasons that you can't send an intro to a potential client for a job.

Only Twine members can contact

You need to be a Twine member to contact a client on Twine. To sign up for free, go here:

If you are already a member, you can sign in here.

Client limit reached

The quicker you contact a client, the more likely you will succeed in being hired. Any Twine member can contact a client if they are one of the first 10 to introduce themselves, and they are relevant for the job.

If 10 freelancers have already contacted, you will need a verified Twine portfolio. This is to ensure clients get contacted from legitimate and trustworthy freelancers.

If 15 freelancers have already contacted the client, then you will need to upgrade to Twine Pro.

We have these limits in place to ensure a client does not get too many freelancers contacting them, but also to encourage freelancers to contact clients quickly. You can turn on email job notifications in your settings.

Payout details

You can only contact a client on a job if you have added your payout details. Free members and use PayPal as a payout option. Pro members have more payout options including Payoneer, wire transfer and UK bank transfer. You can set your payout method in your settings.

Monthly intros

Every Twine member has a monthly intros limit. Free members can send 15 intros per month and Pro members can send 50. Read more about intros here.
